Hail Mary

£30.00

August is the month dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. I thought of the Annunciation of Mother Mary when the angel Gabriel came to announce the incarnation while doing this painting. This painting was inspired by how Mother Mary obeyed the Lord with her response to the angel Gabriel “Here am I, the servant of the Lord; let it be with me according to your word.”

Sometimes we are so proud of ourselves that we forget to lower ourselves in front of God, to trust in Him and to obey Him.

Watercolour on A3 premium paper - 29.7 × 42 cm (11.7 × 16.5 in)
